Visiting beautiful places will make your traveling more meaningful regardless of the intention of your trip. Whether it's for pleasure or work, we would recommend you to include in your itinerary to visit local cafes either to have your morning coffee fix, breakfast, lunch, dinner, or whenever you feel like it. A visit to a local cafe could improve your trip in ways you never expected. You'll get a local feel for the destination, and you might just learn something.

Located at Jalan Besar, Kuantan, it is no doubt that passersby will be drawn to this café in between the old shophouses called TJANTEK. The spherical transparent pendant lamps decorate the interior and emit warm lights, certainly stealing the limelight from afar and creating a cozy atmosphere inside. TJANTEK went to great lengths to preserve the architectural integrity of the local neighborhood and its historical essence. The massive wooden ceiling beams are seen to be well preserved to this day. Even the finest details of the interior did not suffer over time. To imbue the dining experience with a sense of nature, a mini garden wraps around the center of the café. The cafe's design stays true to the theme, with wooden and steel materials surrounding the interior and exterior, accented by the art pieces in every corner of the café.
